Hi Phillip!! Remember me?????? Here is my autobiography and update (finally)! I just graduated from high school not even a year ago. Christmas break of my senior year (Dec. 2000), I was starting to panic because all of my friends knew where they were going to college and I had NO CLUE! So, I got on the internet and went to a search engine. I starting surfing around and found getamentor.com. Naturally, I started reading the web site to see exactly what it was about. It sounded pretty good, almost too good to be true. So, I just had to call and find out more information.

I know that taking a quick glance at this site, you may think, this is a big SCAM and these autobiographies have all been MADE UP! Well, I thought the same thing, but here I am writing one RIGHT NOW! I called the phone number on the site with a ton of questions, trying to ensure that this wasn't some scam artist.

After talking to Phillip from MANY phone conversations, I decided that radio was the way I wanted to go, and he'd be the one to help me! I remember him asking me a ton of questions, just trying to get to know me and me getting to know him. He was very informative on this program and answered any kind of question I had for him and the program.

After many phone conversations he accepted me in his program and as quick as I had found his web-site I was in a local radio station learning from the program director!

I started in May 2001 and I just finished in Nov. 2001, NOT EVEN A YEAR!!!!!! (People go to school for YEARS to do what I am doing !!) Currently, I am now employed at the station that I learned from and have my OWN RADIO show from 6-11 p.m. on Sunday nights, plus I run the morning show from 6-10 a.m. that same morning!

My mentor, I believe, couldn't have been more encouraging, and enthusiastic of me being there than anyone else! He spent the time with me that was needed and gave me constructive advice. My fellow employees have made me feel right at home and offered to give any advice that they could also help with. I am still working another job until, of course, I am offered a bigger job at the station! I couldn't even begin to tell you how excited I am about what I am doing.

Phil always said that you should be happy with what you are doing. And he is right, enjoying your job is much more important than anything else. A large part of credit belongs to Phillip AND my mentor for taking on such a task as to take time out of a competitive market (which I am still learning) to teach me his knowledge. The key to making this program successful is DETERMINATION. Always keep an open mind and never give up. I don't know what else I can tell you about this program, except that it works!!!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
