RADIO MENTOR POLICY

- Registration -

To get to a personal phone interview where we can answer all of your specific questions and concerns and mutually determine if our program is right for you, please submit a Preliminary Application for Enrollment found at the end of our site.

THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR ANY OF YOUR INITIAL IN-DEPTH PHONE INTERVIEWS WITH US.

After your phone interview, if approved and you wish to continue, a registration fee of $350.00* is required in order to proceed with your enrollment and for you to advance to your face-to-face meeting and interview with your prospective mentor. This is not an additional charge; but part of the total placement fee and is applied as a credit to that full placement fee amount.

Again, the $350.00 Registration Fee is fully and unconditionally refundable on request, so you can take the next step, even interview with your potential mentor. If you are not satisfied, can't come up with the rest of your placement fee, or change your mind, the Registration Fee is guaranteed refundable -- without exception.


ENROLLMENT

- Payment In Full -

If your potential mentor accepts you at your interview, and you have the funds ready, you then pay the placement fee balance in full to officially enroll and start an unrestricted schedule at the station or studio.

- Payment Plan -

Nearly half of the fees paid to us are paid to the mentor over a period of four to ten months. If you can't raise the funds, you can, after paying $1,500 down for Radio and Recording, $2500 for Film, proceed on a restricted activity basis - once a month at the station or studio. You will then make payments of $350 (minimum) per month until paid in full.


CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

The $350 Registration Fee is fully refundable, unconditionally, upon your request. Again, if you must cancel (you change your mind, can't come up with the rest of your placement fee, are not satisfied with us), please let us know. The Registration Fee is guaranteed refundable -- without exception.*

Notify us by phone and/or email and a check will be mailed to you within 60 business days of your request.

If you are on the fence, still deciding, have cold feet, you also have the option of keeping the $350 as a credit on your account - indefinitely. You may then return at any time and resume your enrollment process with us. The $350 will not be lost to you and also acts as an anchor and incentive to pull you back to your goal and commitment.

Any and all payments made after accepting your mentor are not refundable. We would find it impossible to operate if we were required to refund our fees. The professions we represent are not easy. Discouragement and the feeling that you are not going to make it are common. Offering a refund encourages giving up, and providing it is tantamount to a reward for quitting. Our commitment is to help you succeed.

*Unconditional refund on $350 Registration Fee is effective for enrollments starting July 1, 2006.


SERVICE AGREEMENT

- What If Something Goes Wrong? -

Mentors are not paid in advance, so we guarantee that if at any time throughout your training you become dissatisfied for any reason, we can find you another station or studio and mentor within the same field at no additional charge.

If you are not dissatisfied, but find it necessary to find a new mentor because you decide to move to a new city in the midst of your training, or due to other circumstances of your own volition, there is a charge of $2,000 to find you a new mentor.
